Common use of SOILED OR DAMAGED CLOTHING Clause in Contracts

SOILED OR DAMAGED CLOTHING. Civilian members whose clothing becomes unusually soiled as a result of the performance of their duties may apply for reimbursement in accordance with Directive EDUCATION LEAVE Leave of absence, without pay and benefits and without loss of seniority the member held at the commencement of the leave, may be to any member for the purpose of obtaining a university degree provided that: the member has obtained some of the credits for the degree during off duty hours; the degree can be obtained in no more than two years of full-time study; there is no obligation to provide and no restriction on providing employmentto the member during such leave of absence; the degree would in the opinion of the Board be of value to future police work. such leave to obtain any one degree may only be requested once during a member's career; the educational costs to be borne by the member.
