Common use of Special Education Committee Clause in Contracts

Special Education Committee. ‌ The Board and Association shall develop a joint committee on Special Education issues. The Association shall be represented by one (1), BEA appointed Intervention Specialist per school building. The Board shall be represented by the Special Education Director, one (1) building administrator, and the Superintendent or his/her designee. The committee shall meet at least four (4) times per year for the purpose of reviewing the effectiveness of the Special Education program, to develop recommendations on changes to the program and to address concerns of the Special Education staff.
