Common use of Special Shifts Clause in Contracts

Special Shifts. When due to conditions beyond the control of the Em- ployer, or when contract specifications require that work can only be performed outside the regular day shift, then by mutual agreement a special shift may be worked at the straight time rate, eight (8) hours work for eight (8) hours pay.
