Specific Nutrition Concerns or Medically Restricted Diets. Students should meet with the registered dietitian and executive chef to review options for dining hall accommodations. It is the responsibility of the student with food allergies or other specified nutrition concerns to make the final judgment on whether to question the ingredients of a food item or to choose to eat the foods selected. UNH Dining works closely with UNH Student Accessibility Services (SAS) to provide reasonable accommodations within the dining facilities for students with permanent or temporary disabilities. Any exceptions to the meal plan requirement must be requested and approved through Student Accessibility Services (SAS) or the Civil Rights & Equity Office in conjunction with the Executive Director of Hospitality and Campus Services.   • Prohibition Against Selecting and Installing Products Containing Hazardous Materials The Contractor shall not select, install or otherwise incorporate any products or materials containing Hazardous Materials within the boundaries of the Site. Should the Contractor or any Subcontractors have knowledge that, or believe that, an item, component, material, substance, or accessory within a product or assembly selected by the Contractor or any Subcontractor may contain Hazardous Materials it is the Contractor’s responsibility to secure a written certification from the manufacturer of any suspected material which identifies the specific Hazardous Material(s) contained, together with the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for such materials which shall be submitted to the Owner and Design Professional.

The requirements of Section 6002 include procuring only items designated in guidelines of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) at 40 CFR part 247 that contain the highest percentage of recovered materials practicable, consistent with maintaining a satisfactory level of competition, where the purchase price of the item exceeds $10,000 or the value of the quantity acquired during the preceding fiscal year exceeded $10,000; procuring solid waste management services in a manner that maximizes energy and resource recovery; and establishing an affirmative procurement program for procurement of recovered materials identified in the EPA guidelines.
