Specific Stipulations. All transfer students will need to satisfy Dominican’s General Education Curriculum requirements, which include components in (I) General Skills, (II) Roots of Contemporary Life and Culture, (IIIA) Science, and (IIIB) Values. These requirements, and the Westchester courses that may be used to meet them, are outlined on the attached pages. Note: all transfer students are required to complete an English Competency exam regardless of the number of Writing courses completed at Westchester or elsewhere. Students not successful on the exam are provided additional support at Dominican through the required course EN115, Advanced Writing. Both Westchester Community College and Dominican College agree to keep each other informed of program changes in a timely way.
