SRO Work Hours, Uniforms and Visibility on Campus. The SRO shall remain on the school grounds during normal school hours, except when necessary to attend to a law enforcement emergency, to attend any meetings or trainings described in this MOU, or on limited occasions to attend to official law enforcement business off-campus. With the exception of emergency situations out of the SRO’s control, the SRO shall give the SRO supervisor, and principal or designee reasonable advance notice of any times when the SRO is not expected to be on campus during normal school hours, and the Agency will provide replacement officers to the extent possible in accordance with Article II, Section 6, of this MOU. The SRO shall wear the official law enforcement uniform or other apparel issued by the Agency at all times while serving on WCBOE property and shall make best efforts to maintain high visibility at all times when practical and safe to do so, especially in areas where incidents of crime or violence are most likely to occur. The SRO shall, whenever possible and in accordance with guidance from the school principal or designee, participate in or attend school functions during the SRO’s regular duty hours, in order to assure the peaceful operation of school-related programs. Security services for extracurricular activities held outside of school hours shall be addressed through a separate contract between the Board and each Agency for law enforcement officer services.

SRO Work Hours, Uniforms and Visibility on Campus. In the event any SRO is absent from work, the SRO shall notify both his/her supervisor in TPD and the principal of the school to which the SRO is assigned. SRO will be available on days’ school is in session for students from 7:30 am until 3:30 pm and will be available for crisis and potential violent situations that may arise after school, at nights, and on weekends. The SRO will obtain authorization from the SRO Supervisor prior to working past 3:30 pm on school days, nights, and weekends.   • PREVAILING WAGE RATES - PUBLIC WORKS AND BUILDING SERVICES CONTRACTS If any portion of work being Bid is subject to the prevailing wage rate provisions of the Labor Law, the following shall apply:

  • Right to Refuse Unsafe Work Employees have the right to refuse to perform unsafe work pursuant to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations of the Workers Compensation Act.

  • UNIFORMS AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT 214. For employees required by the Appointing Officer to wear a uniform, beginning in fiscal year 2006-2007 and continuing for the duration of this Agreement, the City agrees to provide a uniform allowance each year in the amount of eight hundred fifty dollars ($850). The City will pay the uniform allowance in the payroll that includes September 1 of each year. Represented employees must be on duty status or approved leave on each September 1 to be eligible for the uniform allowance. Any eligible employee hired on or after March 1 will receive fifty percent (50%) of the uniform allowance that year.

  • UNIFORMS & EQUIPMENT Uniforms and equipment required by the Department to be worn/used by employees will be furnished by the Department.

  • Access to Work District representatives shall at all times have access to the Work, wherever it is, in preparation or in progress. Contractor shall provide safe and proper facilities for such access.

  • WORK UNIFORMS Employees who are required to wear uniforms as a condition of employment shall be furnished such uniforms by the Appointing Authority. Proper maintenance of uniforms is an employee responsibility unless they are currently maintained by the Employer or unless required by statute or other regulatory agencies because of contamination (see Article 22). Uniforms shall not be used for off-duty activity by the employee.

  • Access to Work Locations Reasonable access to employee work locations shall be granted officers of the Association and their officially designated representatives for the purpose of processing grievances or contacting members of the Association concerning business within the scope of representation. Such officers or representatives shall not enter any work location without the consent of the City Manager. Access shall be restricted so as not to interfere with the normal operations of the department or with established safety or security requirements. Solicitation of membership and activities concerned with the internal management of the Association, such as collecting dues, holding membership meetings, campaigning for office, conducting elections and distributing literature, shall not be conducted during working hours.

  • Contractor Work Hours and Safety Standards Contractor shall ensure compliance with all safety and hourly requirements for employees, in accordance with federal, state, and County safety and health regulations and laws.

  • Union Activity on Premises and/or Access to Premises The Union agrees that neither it, nor its officers, agents, representatives and members will engage in the solicitation of members, holding of meetings or any other Union activities on Hospital premises or on Hospital time without the prior approval of the Hospital, except as specifically provided for in this Agreement. Such approval will not be unreasonably denied.
