STANDING JOINT COMMITTEE FOR TEACHER EVALUATION. A. Committee Composition 1. The Association and the Board agree to establish a standing joint Evaluation Development Committee for the purpose of establishing the policy, procedure and process, including the evaluation instrument, for the evaluation of teachers in the District and to regularly review the effectiveness of the policy, procedure and process, including the evaluation instrument, for the evaluation of teachers in the District. The committee shall be comp[rised of five (5) Association members appointed by the Association President and five (5) members appointed by the Superintendent. In addition, each party may appoint up to one ad hoc non-voting member to assist and/or attend committee meetings. 2. Committee members shall be representative of elementary, middle school, secondary, and specialty areas (i.e., music, art, special education) and programs (i.e. career tech) within the District. 3. After the Association member’s term, or removal therefrom, the Association President shall appoint a successor.
