- STATUTE COMPLIANCE. The Employer and the Union agree to utilize the impasse procedures for collective bargaining established by Chapter 20, Code of Iowa, and the administrative rules of the Iowa Public Employment Relations Board, with the exceptions of the established timeline. In the event that the Employer and Union fail to reach an agreement by September 1 in the year in which negotiation have commenced mediation shall be requested. In the even the parties are still at impasse on October 1 of the same year the dispute shall be submitted to final and binding arbitration. In the event the dispute is submitted to arbitration the arbitrator’s decision shall be rendered no later than November 1 of the same year. The parties may mutually agree to eliminate or modify the above impasse procedures.

  • FERPA Compliance In connection with all FERPA Records that Contractor may create, receive or maintain on behalf of University pursuant to the Underlying Agreement, Contractor is designated as a University Official with a legitimate educational interest in and with respect to such FERPA Records, only to the extent to which Contractor (a) is required to create, receive or maintain FERPA Records to carry out the Underlying Agreement, and (b) understands and agrees to all of the following terms and conditions without reservation:

  • LABOR CODE COMPLIANCE The Grantee agrees to be bound by all the provisions of the Labor Code regarding prevailing wages and shall monitor all contracts subject to reimbursement from this Agreement to assure that the prevailing wage provisions of the Labor Code are being met.
