Step I. If, as a result of the informal discussion with his/her immediate supervisor, the matter is not satisfactorily resolved, a formalized grievance shall be submitted in writing to the Director of Transportation within fifteen (15) days following the date of the alleged grievance. The written grievance shall include: a. Identification of the grievant(s). b. The specific facts upon which the grievance is based. c. Identification of the applicable portion of the agreement allegedly violated, misinterpreted, or misapplied. d. The specific relief requested. e. The date on which the alleged grievance occurred. f. The date on which the grievance is filed. g. A signature attesting to the facts as presented. The Director of Transportation will respond in writing to the grievant within ten (10) days following receipt of the written grievance.
