Common use of STEP II Clause in Contracts

STEP II. If the grievance is not resolved at Step I, the Association may refer the grievance to the superintendent or the superintendent's official designee within fifteen (15) days after receipt of the Step I answer. The superintendent shall arrange with the Association representative for a meeting to take place within fifteen (15) days of the superintendent's receipt of the appeal. Within ten (10) days of the meeting, the Association shall be provided with the superintendent's written response, including the reasons for the decision.

STEP II. If the grievance is not resolved at Step I1, then the Association may refer the grievance to the superintendent Superintendent or the superintendentSuperintendent's official designee within fifteen ten (1510) days after receipt of the Step I answer. The superintendent Superintendent shall arrange arrange, with the Association representative Representative, for a meeting to take place within fifteen ten (1510) days of the superintendentSuperintendent's receipt of the appeal. Within ten (10) days of the meeting, the Association shall be provided with the superintendentSuperintendent's written response, including the reasons for the decision.

STEP II. If the grievance is not resolved at Step I, I then the Association may refer the grievance to the superintendent or the superintendent's ’s official designee within fifteen ten (1510) days after receipt of the Step I answer. The superintendent shall arrange with the Association representative for a meeting to take place within fifteen five (155) days of the superintendent's ’s receipt of the appeal. Each party may include in its representation such witnesses and counselors as it deems necessary. Within ten five (105) days of the meeting, the Association shall be provided with the superintendent's ’s written response, including the reasons for the decision.

STEP II. If In the event the grievance is has not been resolved at Step Iin the first step, the grievant and/or the Association may refer the grievance file an appeal to the superintendent Superintendent or the superintendent's official designee designee. The appeal shall be made within fifteen ten (1510) days after of receipt of the Step I answer. The superintendent shall arrange with the Association representative for a meeting to take place within fifteen (15) days of the superintendent's receipt of the appealsupervisor’s decision. Within ten (10) days of receipt of the meetingappeal, the Association Superintendent shall be provided confer with the superintendent's Association and the grievant in an effort to resolve the grievance. The Superintendent, within ten (10) days following the conference, shall give his/her written response, decision including the reasons for therefore to the decisiongrievant and the Association.
