Step One – College President or Designee. A. Within thirty (30) days after the grievant knows or should have known of the alleged act or omission on which the grievance is based, the grievant shall file a Step One Grievance Form (DCE-G1) with the Human Resource Office and shall forward a copy to the President of the College. B. The Director of Human Resources or other President's designee, along with the appropriate involved College personnel as determined by the College shall meet with the grievant for purpose of resolving the grievance and shall, within thirty (30) days of receipt of the Step One Grievance Form, render a written Step One decision on a Step One Decision form (DCE-G2), and shall forward a copy to the President or designee thereof.
