The working xxxxxxx designated for one EMPLOYER has no authority with regard to the work of another EMPLOYER. If he should become involved in the affairs or disputes of another EMPLOYER, he will be subject to discharge. Stewards. Each UNION The Company agrees to recognize two (2) Stewards per shift. Stewards will be allowed reasonable time off from their regular work to process grievances. They will not lose pay for this time off. Stewards must have permission from their Shift Supervisor to be absent from their work in the above instance. The Union agrees to supply the Company with the names of Shop Stewards and to keep such list up-to-date at all times. ARTICLE SENIORITY Newly hired employees shall serve a probationary period of four hundred and eighty (480) regular hours worked and shall have no seniority rights during this period. Upon completion of the right probationary period, a new employee shall have his seniority dated back to designate his most recent date of hire. During the probationary period an employee shall be considered as being employed on a working journeyman as a xxxxxxxtrial basis and may be discharged at the discretion of the Company. Probationary employees shall be evaluated at least twice prior to completing their designated xxxxxxxprobationary period. PAYMENT TO STEWARDS With the exception of contract negotiations (see below), the Company will not be required to pay for any time spent by the Union stewards or by mem- bers of the same Union committee in servicing grievances or at meetings with the employee's appropriate supervisorCompany outside their regu- lar working hours. Stewards. If the Company representative is unable to meet the Xxxxxxx during the Xxxxxxx'x normal working hours, the Xxxxxxx shall be paid at regular rate of pay for all time spent during the processing of the grievance with the Company on the Company property or at any other place which is mutually agreed upon by both the Union and the Company.
