Common use of STRIKES & LOCKOUTS Clause in Contracts

STRIKES & LOCKOUTS. The Employer shall not cause or direct any lockout of employees during the life of this Agreement; and neither the Union nor any representative thereof, nor any employee, shall in any way authorize, encourage, or participate in any strike (i.e., walkout, suspension of work, or slowdown or other actions as defined in the Labour Relations Code) on the part of any employee or group of employees during the life of this Agreement.
