Common use of Student Growth Goal Setting Clause in Contracts

Student Growth Goal Setting. The teacher who is on a Comprehensive evaluation will select a student growth goal for 3.1, 6.1, and 8.1. These goals shall be developed with input from the evaluator and may be interrelated. This will be completed by November 1st. Student data that measures growth between two points in time shall be used to calculate a teacher’s student growth score. The measurements used shall be recommended by the teacher in consultation with their immediate supervisor. Pre-Observation Communication: Prior to any scheduled observation, the teacher will be given the opportunity to review the objectives and goals of his or her lesson with his or her evaluator.
