Student Learning Objectives (SLO. SLOs, by definition, require an understanding of local needs and objectives. Because of this, SLOs will need to be developed collaboratively between administrators and an individual teacher, or groups of teachers. SLO targets can take into account student characteristics such as SWD, ELL, poverty and prior history. For teachers of Regents courses, the district will provide time for the development SLOs.. Forms have been included in the Appendix B to help members develop individual SLOs. It is understood that assessments selected for SLOs must be approved by SED.
