Student Responsibilities. The school provided Chromebook for the student is an important learning tool to be used for educational purposes. This includes family members and friends. I will not place anything near the Chromebook that could put pressure on the screen. I will not leave the Chromebook in any wayan unattended or unsecure location. The undersigned acknowledge the failure to timely return the MacBook Pro/Mac Air/iPad Air/Power Adapter/Extension and cover when scheduled or upon my withdrawalwhen requested shall result in liability by both parent and child for the value of the device. ● The parties acknowledge the value of the MacBook Pro shall be approximately $1000.00, Mac AIr shall be approximately $950, and iPad 64GB shall be approximately $800. Parents are signing this agreement as guarantors for their child(ren). Student use of District-owned or provided technology is a privilege and students are responsible for the appropriate use of all electronic devices and technology media that are provided by the Coldwater EVSD. Technology for purposes of this Agreement includes, but is not limited to: Chromebooks, computers, other hardware, electronic devices, software, Internet, e-mail, and networks. This Agreement, in conjunction with Coldwater EVSD Board of Education Policy, Acceptable Use and Internet Safety for the Computer Network of the school year or upon my withdrawal. ● I agree to not deface or destroy this property in any way. Student Responsibilities. The school provided Chromebook for the student is an important learning tool  I have received and agree to be used for educational purposes. In order to use the device each day, the student must be willing to accept the following responsibilities: ● I understand that district officials have the ability to monitor my use of the device AT ALL TIMES IN AND OUT OF SCHOOL and that communications, files, internet search activities, and any other actions using the device are not considered to be private. Note: RCCSD does not have the ability to and will not remotely operate the camera on the device.
