Check-Out Sample Clauses

Check-Out. Upon expiration of the contract, the STUDENT agrees to vacate the premises by 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2024. The STUDENT shall remove all personal property, leave the space in a clean and orderly condition (normal wear and tear excluded) to avoid cleaning fees, and return the keys to the Xxxxxx Vista Housing Office to avoid re-keying charges. STUDENTS vacating after 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2024, will be assessed a late charge of $25 per hour.
Check-Out. The student must check out within 24 hours after the student’s last final exam of the Spring semester (Fall semester for those not enrolling for the Spring semester), or by noon on the last day of the semester per the SUNY XXXXXXXX Academic Calendar, whichever comes first. This will not extend the student’s agreement term beyond that set out above. The student is to vacate the space within 24 hours after withdrawal or dismissal from the College, unless specified differently by the Xxxx of Student Development Services of the Executive Director. The student will be held liable for room charges beyond his/her last date of attendance. Failure to move out within the prescribed period may result in a $150 per day charge, eviction, disciplinary action, arrest, or any or all of the foregoing. In case of eviction, the SCCCDC will not be held responsible for student belongings and reserves the right to take possession of and discard such belongings, change all applicable locks, and charge the student for all necessary expenses. The student is expected to complete proper check out prior to leaving the assigned space, as outlined in the Guidebook. When one occupant in a room moves out while others remain, each is equally and jointly responsible for cleaning the room. If any of those spaces are found to be in unacceptable condition, cleaning services will be provided and all residents will be held liable for cleaning charges. The student must also complete and sign the Room Condition Report form and return all keys to the Office of Residence Life. If the student is departing prior to the end of the academic year, an Agreement Release form must be completed. Failure to comply with this process may result in additional charges.
Check-Out a. You must check out by 12:00 noon the day following your last final examination during the Contract Period or by noon on the last day of the Contract Period. b. You must follow the University’s check-out procedures to receive clearance to check out. Failure to follow these procedures will result in a $50.00 Improper Check-Out Charge. c. If you fail to follow the University’s check-out procedures at the end of the Contract Period or within 24 hours after you withdraw from the University, prior to the end of the contract period, you will be charged the Daily Room Rate plus assessed three (3) times the Daily Room Rate for each day until you follow such check-out procedures or the University removes your property from the room pursuant to Section XII. Further, you shall indemnify the University and prospective residents for damages, costs and expenses arising out of or related to your failure to complete a timely, proper check-out, including, without limitation, lost revenues, lodging expenses, attorney fees and costs, and collection costs as specified above. If you graduate at the end of the semester and you have made a request, you may stay in your assigned room without additional charge through the date of the University commencement. To stay in your room through commencement, you must submit a written request to the Office of Housing and Residence Life on or before November 1st prior to commencement. You must follow the University’s check-out procedures by 12:00 noon the day following commencement, and if you fail to check out by such day, you will be charged the Daily Room Rate plus assessed three
Check-Out. You must vacate the accommodation, including parking and storage areas, before 10 AM on your check-out day unless prior written arrangements have been made. This ensures that we have adequate time to prepare the accommodation for the next guest. A fee equal to 100% of one night’s stay will be charged if the accommodation is not vacated by above specified time. If you desire a later check- out, please contact us after arrival. We may be able to accommodate you if the unit is available. Late check-out up to 3 PM (if available) may be guaranteed in advance for a fee equal to 50% of the daily rent.
Check-Out. A. You must follow the University’s check out procedures to receive clearance to check out. Failure to follow these procedures will result in a $50 improper check out charge. B. If you fail to check out by the last day of the Contract Period or within 24 hours after you withdraw from the University, you will be charged a $50 per day room charge for the holdover period. Further, you shall be liable for all damages, costs and expenses arising out of or related to your failure to complete a timely check out, including, without limitation, lost revenues, lodging expenses, and attorney’s fees. Furthermore, you agree to indemnify the University and prospective residents for all such damages, costs and expenses. C. If you graduate at the end of the spring semester, you may stay in the residence halls in consolidated areas without additional charge through the date of the University and your college commencement. You must request to stay by emailing xxxxxxx@xxxxxx.xxxxxx.xxx on or before ten days prior to the commencement. You shall check out of your assigned room during the normal check out period and shall move to the consolidated area as assigned by the University.
Check-Out. At the end of tenancy or occupancy, whichever is sooner, the tenant must secure from management a check-out form, (with an assigned job and a list of required cleaning attached), make an appointment for check-out (at least 48 hrs in advance, if a time has not been assigned, in advance of check-out) Sundays excluded, completely remove all of student’s belongings, complete the check-out form and the assigned cleaning, secure the required signatures and return the check-out form to management along with the assigned key(s) to the apartment that were issued at time of check in to student. Student shall be responsible to inform management at the time of check-out, of any damages, caused by the student, that are not readily apparent. Student must also return to management a self addressed stamped envelope for the return of the remainder of the security deposit. If student leaves forwarding address, but fails to leave a self addressed stamped envelope, management will charge a fee of $1.00 for stamp and envelope. Failure to turn in a check-out form, properly completed with the key(s) issued to the student on the day of vacating the apartment will result in the student being charged a fee of $40.00 plus any cost to replace the key(s), re-keying of locks, and the cost to clean the unit, which charges shall be deducted from the deposit. Tenant is responsible to become familiar with all applicable charges and rules regarding check-out.
Check-Out. A. Student agrees to comply with all University Check Out Procedures, which can be found at xxx.xxx.xxx/xxxxxxx/xxxxxxx, and as may be amended by the University from time to time, and which include, but are not limited to, following the cleaning guidelines; removing all personal belongings; promptly vacating upon the termination or expiration of this Agreement; and timely turning in Unit keys. B. If Student does not follow the cleaning guidelines, Student may be subject to additional cleaning charges, in addition to the standard cleaning fee referenced in Section X.A. above. C. If Student fails to schedule an apartment inspection with a Resident Advisor 24-hours prior to their Check out, Student may be charged $50, which Student agrees is a reasonable approximation of University’s administrative costs. D. If Student fails to remove all personal belongings from the Unit at the time of their Check out, Student may be charged $100, which Student agrees is a reasonable approximation of University’s administrative costs. E. If Student fails to remove all of Student’s personal belongings upon Check out, the University may consider such belongings abandoned, and it may either sell or dispose of them, or pack and store them at Student’s expense. Student acknowledges and agrees that the University shall have no liability for any damage or loss of Student’s belongings during packing and storage. F. If Student fails to complete their scheduled Check out by the deadline, Student may be charged $25 every 15 minutes, not to exceed $250, which Student agrees is a reasonable approximation of University’s administrative costs. G. If Student fails to turn in Student’s Unit key(s) by Student’s Check out date, Student may be charged a prorated housing rate of Student’s Room until Student turns the keys in or the lock(s) is/are changed. In the event that locks are changed, Student may also be assessed a fee of $85 for room keys and $25 for mail keys which Student agrees is a reasonable approximation of University’s expense. H. Student shall be responsible for the cost of repairing any damage to Student’s Unit or its fixtures and furnishings and any damage to any portion of the Common Areas, which is caused by negligence or misuse on the part of Student or any guest of Student. If you fail to follow the University’s check-out procedures at the end of the Contract Period or within 24 hours after you withdraw from the University, prior to the end of the contract period, you will be charged the Daily Room Rate plus assessed three (3) times the Daily Room Rate for each day until you follow such check-out procedures or the University removes your property from the room. Further, you shall indemnify the University and prospective residents for damages, costs and expenses arising out of or related to your failure to complete a timely, proper check-out, including, without limitation, lost revenues, lodging expenses, attorney fees and costs, and collection costs as specified above. d. If you graduate at the end of the Fall Semester or Spring Semester and you have made a request, you may stay in your assigned room without additional charge through the date of the University commencement. To stay in your room through commencement, you must submit a written request to the Office of Residence Life on or before December 1st for fall commencement or April 15th for spring commencement. You must follow the University’s check-out procedures by 5 the day following commencement, and if you fail to check out by such day, you will be charged the Daily Room Rate plus assessed three (3) times the Daily Room Rate for each day until you follow such check-out procedures, or the University removes your property from the room pursuant to Section XII.
Check-Out. It is the duty of the student to return the unit to its original state at the end of the contract term, with reasonable use and wear to be expected. Reasonable use and wear are understood to mean the gradual deterioration resulting from use, lapse of time, and the operation of the elements, despite the student’s care. A student has properly checked out when they have followed the process outlined by Residence Life and Housing. Students are responsible for the cleaning of their living spaces and the cost of their cleaning supplies. If a unit is not left in “move-in ready” condition at check out, the cleaning/damage deposit will be applied to cleaning, damage, and replacement charges accrued. If the forfeited cleaning deposit does not cover the cost of returning the unit to its original state, the assigned student is responsible for the amount owed and will be billed accordingly. Failure to return a room key at checkout will result in a lock change. Xxxx change charges will be billed to the assigned student’s account. 5. HOUSING ASSIGNMENTS, OCCUPANCY & DINING SERVICES (Dining Services for Salem Campus only) 5.1 LIVING SPACES & AMENITIES Upon assignment, Willamette University agrees to provide eligible students with a residential unit for the academic year or portion thereof. The university agrees to assign space and provide dining only after the applicant has completed the application via the WU Housing portal. Enrollment at the university and confirmation of a housing and dining plan (Salem campus only) assignment is considered binding. Therefore, actual physical occupancy of the living space by the assigned student is not necessary to constitute occupancy. A. All students shall be provided with a bed and mattress, desk and chair, storage for clothing, and central room light. As a part of unit costs, the university will provide housekeeping services for public areas, public restrooms, utilities, and maintenance. B. Student living spaces and furnishings provided therein are to be used in the manner for which they are designed. University property, including student room and lounge area furnishings, may not be moved within the building or from one living space to another. Residence Life and Housing will not remove a room’s furnishings to allow a student to bring their own furnishing, except in cases of meeting approved accommodation needs. C.
