Kenya regiown ith a rising burden of cardiovascular di.sEemasbeu county has a population of 608,599 people, otfhis 304,208 are male and 304,367 are female as per the 2019 national census data. Embu County has a population growth rate of 1.4% per annum. The county has 173 healthcare facilities comprising of private, n-ognovernmental, faith based and pubKlia.mbuCounty is located in the central region of Kenya. The County covers a total area of 254.5km2 and has a total population o 2,417,735 as per the 2019 national cenTshues.county has both private and public health facilities providing services to its poptioulna. Thestudyfacilities included oncoeunty referral hospital (level 5) and a select-ecdousnutby hospital (level 4) in each county. In Garissa County, the Garissa Provincial General Hospital (GPGH) and Ifti Sub-county Hospital were included in thveesyu. rGarissa PGH is a level five hospital located in Garissa town and hasa 4-bed ICU and continuous monitoring of critical patients can be done in the ICU and HDU. Iftin level 4 hospital is -ab2ed4 hospital serving the Iftin-sCuobunty in Garissa. In EbumCounty, Embu Level 5 hospital and Siakago level 4 hospital were included in the Project and the survey. Emb level 5 is 6a18-bedhospital located in Embu town. The hospital has an ICU and HDU(M. Sbeiaekraeg) o level 4in Mbeeredistrict with 42 bed facility with no ICU and HDU.hIat cvaenaturnover of 500 patients daily. In Kiambu CountKy,iambu level a5nd Kihara level 5 facilities were included in the study. Kiambu level 5 isa361-bed facilitywith a turnover of more tha0n020 patientsdaily. The hospital has a recently established ICUKi.haralevel 4is an84-bed facilitylocated inGachie Kiamb. Tuhe level 5 hospit arse betterstaffedwith specialists, doctors, nurses and other cadres of staff.

  • Studies The clinical, pre-clinical and other studies and tests conducted by or on behalf of or sponsored by the Company or its subsidiaries that are described or referred to in the Registration Statement, the Pricing Disclosure Package and the Prospectus were and, if still pending, are being conducted in accordance in all material respects with all statutes, laws, rules and regulations, as applicable (including, without limitation, those administered by the FDA or by any foreign, federal, state or local governmental or regulatory authority performing functions similar to those performed by the FDA). The descriptions of the results of such studies and tests that are described or referred to in the Registration Statement, the Pricing Disclosure Package and the Prospectus are accurate and complete in all material respects and fairly present the published data derived from such studies and tests, and each of the Company and its subsidiaries has no knowledge of other studies or tests the results of which are materially inconsistent with or otherwise call into question the results described or referred to in the Registration Statement, the Pricing Disclosure Package and the Prospectus. Except as described in the Registration Statement, the Pricing Disclosure Package and the Prospectus, neither the Company nor its subsidiaries has received any notices or other correspondence from the FDA or any other foreign, federal, state or local governmental or regulatory authority performing functions similar to those performed by the FDA with respect to any ongoing clinical or pre-clinical studies or tests requiring the termination or suspension of such studies or tests. For the avoidance of doubt, the Company makes no representation or warranty that the results of any studies, tests or preclinical or clinical trials conducted by or on behalf of the Company will be sufficient to obtain governmental approval from the FDA or any foreign, state or local governmental body exercising comparable authority.

  • Study An application for leave of absence for professional study must be supported by a written statement indicating what study or research is to be undertaken, or, if applicable, what subjects are to be studied and at what institutions.

  • Findings 2. Based on the information known by or provided to the Department, the following findings are asserted for purposes of this Contract:

  • Clinical 2.1 Provides comprehensive evidence based nursing care to patients including assessment, intervention and evaluation.

  • Trials The Ship shall run the following test and trials:

  • Protocols Each party hereby agrees that the inclusion of additional protocols may be required to make this Agreement specific. All such protocols shall be negotiated, determined and agreed upon by both parties hereto.

  • Audit Findings Vendor shall implement any required safeguards as identified by Citizens or by any audit of Vendor’s privacy and security controls.

  • Feasibility Each of the Project Budget, the Project Schedule and the Disbursement Schedule is realistic and feasible.

  • Medical Examinations An employee may be required by the Employer, at the request of and at the expense of the Employer, to take a medical examination by a physician of the employee's choice. Employees may be required to take skin tests, x-ray examination, vaccination, inoculation and other immunization (with the exception of a rubella vaccination when the employee is of the opinion that a pregnancy is possible), unless the employee's physician has advised in writing that such a procedure may have an adverse affect on the employee's health.

  • Promotional Examinations All promotional examinations shall be competitive and shall be conducted in the same manner as open examinations except that admission to a promotional examination shall be restricted to persons in the employ of the County who have served at least six months following regular appointment to the classified service and who meet the published requirements for the examination. The Commission shall determine whether an examination shall be held on a promotional or open basis. 1492 Disposition of Papers and Records Prescribed application forms of persons who fail to appear for the written test and examination records of candidates who fail to qualify in the written test shall be destroyed at any time after thirty days from the date of promulgation of the eligible list. Examination records of candidates who qualify in an examination shall be retained during the life of the eligible list or for 15 months, whichever is longer, and the examination records of each appointee shall be filed in his/her permanent personnel folder. Following the period during which competitors may inspect their examination papers, and after their ratings in each part of the examination have been transferred to examination records, examination materials such as question booklets, answer sheets and work papers may be destroyed, but general qualification appraisal sheets and applications shall be retained at least 15 months from the date of the promulgation of the eligible list.
