Subsequent Probation. An employee who has served an initial probationary period shall have a subsequent probationary period of sixty (60) days worked, when assuming a new position within the Society. a) At any time during the subsequent probationary period, the Employer or the employee may terminate the appointment in writing for just cause, in which case the employees shall revert to the most recently held position without loss of any benefits that may have been earned had the new position not been assumed. By mutual agreement, the employee may revert to a similar position at the same step in the salary range, subject to any increments that would have earned had the new position not been assumed. b) By mutual agreement of the parties to this Agreement, the subsequent probationary period may be extended up to an additional forty (40) days worked.
