Common use of Subsistence Clause in Contracts

Subsistence. When Cement Masons are required to travel seventy (70) miles or over, they shall receive sixty-five dollars ($65.00) per day subsistence pay. On subsistence jobs, the employee shall be paid from the point of referral to the jobsite and return at the beginning and ending of the job at the regular travel expense rate plus $0.25 a mile for each mile over seventy (70) radius miles.
