The other day shall then be a normal rostered day subject to subclause (d). b If a weekly employee is rostered to work on the actual public holiday and not the substituted day, the employee shall received the standard public holiday benefits on the actual day. c If a weekly employee is rostered to work on the substituted day and not the actual public holiday, the employee shall receive the public holiday benefits on the substituted day. d In the case of Christmas Day where substitution occurs, work on the 25th December will attract an additional 50% loading of the ordinary rate in addition to the Saturday/Sunday rate. Each semester an adjunct faculty member may submit to the appropriate Xxxx a written request, on a form provided by the College, which shall indicate his/her willingness and availability to act as a substitute teacher and a reliable means by which to contact the adjunct faculty member on short notice. An adjunct faculty member who is selected to substitute teach shall be paid in accordance with Article 8.4.

  • Lieu Days Where an employee is granted a lieu day pursuant to Clause 17.3 or 17.4 of this Agreement, the time off granted will be seven (7) hours per lieu day for a full-time employee and prorated for a part-time employee.
