SUBSTITUTION ALLOWANCE. 1. The employer shall grant an allowance for the duration of the substitution to the employee who is substituting for a function which, according to article 3.2 paragraphs 1 and 2, would lead to a salary scale with a higher maximum salary.

SUBSTITUTION ALLOWANCE a. For substitution for more than one month for a position in a higher salary scale.
SUBSTITUTION ALLOWANCE. When an hourly-rated clerk substitutes for another hourly-rated clerk in Wage Group 8 or higher for a full 8-hour shift or more, the substituting clerk shall receive the rate of the employee for whom he or she are substituting retroactive to the first day of substitution.

  • Relocation Allowance An employee who is promoted and required by agency policy to relocate his residence shall be granted time off with pay for one workday for this purpose. In addition, the employee shall be granted travel time to the new location based on the most direct route. No employee will be credited with more than the number of hours in the employee’s regular workday and such time shall not be counted as hours worked for the purpose of computing compensatory time or overtime.

  • Per Diem Allowance A per diem allowance of seven dollars and thirty-five cents ($7.35) may be claimed for each twenty-four (24) hour period while away from home.

  • Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.

  • Tool Allowance (a) A tool allowance as set in the relevant Wage Tables in Appendix A per week shall be paid for all purposes to:-

  • Shift Allowance In addition to the wage specified in sub-clause (1), read with sub- clause (12), a normal shift worker shall, in respect of his shift hours worked in any week, be paid an additional 12,5% on such wage.

  • Aid Allowance An employee who has been appointed by the Employer and trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. Xxxx's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid weekly an allowance as detailed in Appendix A. The Employer will always appoint the appropriate number of First Aid Officers as required by relevant legislation and Code of Practice.

  • Mileage Allowance The state agrees to seek continued funding to provide for the payment of a mileage allowance for the use of privately owned vehicles for official travel at the rate provided in section 112.061(7)(d)1., F.S.
