Common use of Superintendent May Give Additional Personal Leave Clause in Contracts

Superintendent May Give Additional Personal Leave. Up to two (2) additional days of personal leave may be granted at the discretion of the Superintendent. However, additional days may be granted only upon advance notice (in case of extreme emergency the employee may telephone the Superintendent in advance or upon return). Emergency personal days used in one contract year will be subtracted from the three personal days normally granted for the next contractual year. Denial of such additional days by the Superintendent shall not be subject to the grievance procedure.
