Superior Landlord. Subject to the Tenant having been provided with a copy of the Superior Lease or a notice of the restrictions in it, to comply with all the conditions of any Superior Lease under which the Landlord holds the Premises, and to observe any restrictions to which the Superior Lease is subject. The Tenant also agrees, if required by the Superior Landlord;
Superior Landlord. 2.16.1. Any reference to a superior landlord includes the Landlord's immediate reversioner and any superior landlord
2.16.2. Any reference to a superior lease includes the lease under which the Landlord holds the Demised Premises and any lease superior to that
2.16.3. When a superior landlord performs a landlord's obligation it will be deemed to have been performed by the Landlord
Superior Landlord. Where the Premises is owned by the Landlord under a Superior Lease then the Tenant shall observe and perform the tenant's covenants in that Superior Lease (save in respect of any payments due thereunder) and any regulations that the Tenant shall receive concerning the use of the Premises]
Superior Landlord. (also referred to as ‘Freeholder’ or ‘Head Leaseholder’). This refers to people, or persons, to whom ownership of the property may revert to at the expiry of the term of any Head Lease/Superior Lease. This refers to the named Company and must be a limited company registered with Companies House. This is the whole duration of your stay at the property, which may be longer than the Fixed Term set out in this agreement and will include any extension, continuation or periodic tenancy.
Superior Landlord. 4.8.1 The powers rights matters and discretions granted and reserved to the Landlord under this Lease shall also be granted and reserved to or exercisable by any Superior Landlord its servants agents or workmen to the extent required under the Superior Lease.
4.8.2 If the Tenant shall do or propose to for any matter or thing for which the consent of the Superior Landlord shall be required the Tenant shall bear and indemnify the Landlord against the reasonable and proper cost of obtaining such consent together with all incidental surveyors' professional or other fees and disbursements.
4.8.3 The Landlord shall be entitled to withhold the Landlord's consent in any matter where the Superior Landlord's consent is required and the Landlord is unable after having made all reasonable endeavours to obtain it.
Superior Landlord. The powers rights matters and discretions granted and reserved to the Landlord under this Lease shall also be granted and reserved to or exercisable by any Superior Landlord its servants agents or workmen to the extent required under the Superior Lease.
Superior Landlord. (a) If the Tenant does or proposes to do any matter or thing for which the consent or approval of the Superior Landlord is required, the Tenant will bear and indemnify the Landlord against the cost of obtaining such consent or approval and all incidental professional fees and disbursements.
(b) The Landlord may, notwithstanding any provision to the contrary elsewhere in this Lease, withhold consent or approval in any matter where the Superior Landlord’s consent or approval is required, and the Landlord (having used its reasonable and proper endeavours) is unable to obtain it.
Superior Landlord. 17.1 The powers, rights and discretions reserved to the Landlord under this Agreement are in addition reserved to and exercisable by the Superior Landlord, its employees, agents or work people to the extent required under the Superior Lease.
17.2 The Landlord is not to be treated as unreasonably withholding consent to anything if the consent of the Superior Landlord is also required and the Landlord is unable, after having made all reasonable and proper endeavours, to obtain it.
17.3 Nothing in this Agreement is to be construed as implying that the Superior Landlord is under any obligation not unreasonably to withhold its consent or approval in respect of any application for a licence by the Tenant to the Landlord.
Superior Landlord. (also referred to as ‘Freeholder’ or ‘Head Leaseholder’). This refers to people, or persons, to whom ownership of the property may revert to at the expiry of the term of any Head Lease/Superior Lease. Tenant: (also referred to as ‘you’). This includes all tenants named on the agreement and anyone who is entitled to use the premises under the terms of the tenancy. If this is a joint tenancy, you are all responsible (separately and jointly) for all of the tenants' responsibilities & obligations. This is known as ‘joint and several liability’.
Superior Landlord. Any approval or consent required of the Landlord under paragraphs 15 or 18 of Schedule 8 and any easement right power or discretion excepted reserved or available to the Landlord by this Lease shall be deemed in addition to require the consent of and to except reserve and make the same available to any superior landlord (save that in respect of any superior landlord’s consent required under paragraphs 15 and 18 of Schedule 3 it shall be assumed that the superior landlord’s consent will not be unreasonably withheld under those paragraphs where the Landlord’s consent may not be unreasonably withheld under those paragraphs) and any costs and expenses of the Landlord payable by the Tenant by virtue of this Lease shall include all reasonable costs and expenses that any superior landlord can recover from the Landlord in respect of such matters
