Common use of Supervision and Superintendence Clause in Contracts

Supervision and Superintendence. 6.3.1 Contractor shall supervise and direct the Work efficiently and with its best skill and attention and in accordance with the Construction Contract. It shall be solely responsible for the means, methods, techniques, sequences, and procedures of construction. The Contractor shall be exclusively responsible to see that the finished Work complies accurately and completely with the Contract Documents. 6.3.2 Contractor shall maintain on the worksite at all times during Work progress a competent resident Superintendent, who shall not be replaced without written notice to County except under extraordinary circumstances. The Superintendent will be the Contractor’s representative at the site and shall have authority to act on behalf of the Contractor. All communications given to the Superintendent shall be as binding as if given to Contractor.
