Baseline Schedule. Within twenty-one (21) days after the Preconstruction NTP is issued, the Design-Builder shall prepare and submit a Baseline Schedule for the Project (the “Baseline Schedule”). The Baseline Schedule shall be subject to review and approval by the Department and the Design Builder shall incorporate such adjustments to the Baseline Schedule as may be reasonably requested by the Department. The Baseline Schedule shall be prepared in a critical path method (“CPM”) in a sufficient level of detail to permit the Department and the Design-Builder and any other affected parties to properly plan the Project. The Baseline Schedule shall show: (i) key design milestones and bid packages; (ii) release dates for long lead items; (iii) release dates for key subcontractors; and (iv) Substantial and Final Completion Dates. The Baseline Schedule shall include durations and logic ties for those building systems that the Design-Builder is recommending for replacement. The Baseline Schedule must also be submitted in Primavera 6 native format and shall be updated by the Design Builder, at a minimum, on a bi-weekly basis.

Baseline Schedule. Within seven (7) days after the Letter Contract is issued, the Construction Manager shall prepare a preliminary schedule for the Project, including the preconstruction phase activities and the construction phase activities (“Baseline Schedule”). The Baseline Schedule shall be subject to review and approval by the Department and the Construction Manager shall incorporate such adjustments to the Baseline Schedule as may be reasonably requested by the Department. This schedule shall be prepared in a Critical Path Method (“CPM”) and be developed in a sufficient level of detail so as to permit the affected parties (i.e. the Department, the Architect and the Construction Manager) to properly plan the Project, and shall show: (i) key design milestones and bid packages; (ii) release dates for long lead items; (iii) release dates for key subcontractors; and (iv) Substantial and Final Completion Dates. The preliminary schedule shall include durations and logic ties for those building systems that the Construction Manager is recommending for replacement. The Baseline Schedule must also be submitted in Primavera 6 native format or the latest version of the software and shall be updated by the Construction Manager, at a minimum, on a bi-weekly basis. The preliminary schedule is attached hereto as Exhibit B. During the Preconstruction Phase, the Construction Manager shall monitor the Project’s progress and promptly notify the Department of any delays, regardless of their cause, the causes of such delays, and the Construction Manager’s best projection of the effect of such delays on the Project Schedule. The Department's receipt of, and lack of objection to, any schedule update showing a later Substantial Completion or Final Completion shall not be regarded as the Department’s agreement that the Construction Manager may have an extension of time, or as a waiver of any of the Department’s rights, but merely as the Construction Manager’s representation that, as a matter of fact, the Project may not be completed by the applicable Substantial or Final Completion Date. The Project Schedule shall be maintained and continuously updated during the Preconstruction and Construction Phases.
Baseline Schedule. Unless otherwise stated in Exhibit 1, within ninety (90) days of Design-Builder’s receipt of Department’s Notice to Proceed, Design-Builder shall submit to Department, for its review and approval, a Baseline Schedule in accordance with Exhibit 11.1.Department reserves the right to withhold approval for all or part of Design-Builder’s Applications for Payment until such time Design-Builder furnishes an approved Baseline Schedule.

Contractor represents that the Baseline Schedule shall be an accurate representation of Contractor’s plan for performing the entire Work as of the date it is submitted to Owner, and that Contractor intends to use such schedule to execute the Work in compliance with the Contract Documents. The parties shall reach agreement upon the Baseline Schedule no later than one hundred eighty (180) days of the Notice to Proceed.
Baseline Schedule. 6.5.2.1. The Baseline Schedule is defined as the Contractor’s initial plan to conduct the Work, reviewed for acceptance by the Construction Manager in accordance with the Specifications. The Baseline Schedule shall show the breakdown of work into activities to the extent required to effectively plan the project, report work progress and analyze time impacts, and shall show all logical interrelationships (ties) between activities. The Baseline Schedule shall be the basis for monitoring the Contractor’s progress, and the evaluation and reconciliation of Contract Time extensions. The Contractor shall prepare the Baseline Schedule based on the Contract as awarded, providing materials and equipment described in the Contract Documents, and without considering possible substitute or “or equal” items, even if the Contractor pursues a substitution in accordance with provisions of the Contract. The Construction Manager’s final determination on proposed substitutions may not be made until after the Baseline Schedule or a Revised Schedule is submitted and accepted by the Construction Manager, or conditionally accepted with note exceptions.
Baseline Schedule. Within ninety (90) days of the Date of Commencement, Design-Builder shall submit to Department, for its review and approval, a CPM schedule that includes, among other things: (a) the order in which Design-Builder proposes to carry out the Work (including each stage of design, right-of-way acquisition, Governmental Approvals (including but not limited to permit acquisition), procurement, manufacture, delivery to Site, construction, inspection and testing); and

Baseline Schedule. Developer shall use the preliminary schedule submitted with the Proposal as a foundation to prepare a Project Baseline Schedule and shall submit it to TxDOT for review and approval. Approval of the Project Baseline Schedule shall be a condition of NTP2. Developer shall submit a single hard copy of the Project Baseline Schedule in full-size color plot sheets, along with a backup disk of the schedule in electronic format. Scheduling software shall be as outlined in Book 2, and the Developer shall be responsible for updating scheduling software to maintain compatibility with current TxDOT-supported scheduling software. The Project Baseline Schedule shall include a separate narrative report which describes, in general fashion, the Developer’s proposed methods of operation for designing and constructing the major portions of the Work required by the CDA Documents. The schedule narrative shall describe the general sequence of design and construction, the proposed Critical Path of the Project, and all Milestone Schedule Deadlines. The Project Baseline Schedule shall include all major activities of Work required under the CDA Documents, in sufficient detail to monitor and evaluate design and construction progress, from commencement of the Work to Final Acceptance of the Work. The Project Baseline Schedule shall also include activities for property acquisition, Utility Adjustments, permit acquisitions, and interfaces with other projects, localities, municipalities and other Governmental Entities. For each major activity, Developer shall indicate the duration (in Days) required to perform the activity and the anticipated beginning and completion date of each activity. In addition, the Project Baseline Schedule shall indicate the sequence of performing each major activity and the logical dependencies and inter-relationships among the activities. The Project Baseline Schedule shall include a listing of all submittals as called out in the CDA Documents. Submittal activity durations shall include specific durations for TxDOT review and/or approval of the Developer’s submittals as called out elsewhere in the Agreement and these Technical Provisions. With the exception of activities relating to Environmental Approvals by Governmental Entities, each activity depicting the Developer’s operations shall have duration of not more than 20 Days, and not less than one Day, except as otherwise approved by TxDOT.
