Common use of SUPERVISION DUTIES Clause in Contracts

SUPERVISION DUTIES. (a) Mutual agreement should exist between the principal and the Teachers of a school in determining supervision policies and practices. (b) Notwithstanding 36:02 (a), each Teacher has the right to a minimum of fifty percent (50%) of the scheduled noon interval free from supervision duties and employer-mandated meetings or employer-mandated activities. In an emergency situation, an Employer may require Teachers to attend a meeting during the noon interval. (c) It is recognized by the parties that supervision duties may be carried out by Auxiliary Personnel at the direction of the Employer. (d) A Teacher is not obliged to supervise for another Teacher, except in an emergency situation.
