SUPERVISION OF RESEARCH. For each student, there must be at least one supervisor at each university with allocated responsibilities. The responsibilities and roles of the supervisors are to be specified in the individual Doctoral Candidate Agreement Annexes. The supervisors should have a PhD degree or equivalent with at least two years of post-doctoral research experience and hold a position where one is qualified to supervise doctoral studies according to the local university’s regulations. At KTH a PhD student must have at least one supervisor who holds the position of an associate professor (“Docent”), at ALUF, the supervisor must be a Faculty member (in exceptional cases, a member of another Faculty or Research Institution (e.g. Max-Xxxxxx-Institute)) with the qualification to supervise PhD projects, awarded by the Faculty Council. All members of the NCBS Faculty are eligible to supervise PhD students at NCBS.

The supervisors should have a PhD degree or equivalent with at least two years of post- doctoral research experience or hold a position where one is qualified to supervise doctoral studies according to the university regulations. At UN2 a PhD student must have at least one supervisor who holds the position of an assistant professor ("Docent") and at UN1 one supervisor holding at least the position of assistant professor (or equivalent), the PhD diploma and enrolled in the doctorate programme.
SUPERVISION OF RESEARCH and preparation of the thesis Article 4 The University of Groningen and the UACh will instruct the PhD candidate to register at these institutions and a National Research School in the Netherlands of the student's choice. The distribution of research time at each university will be as follows: − March 2020 to January 2023: UACh − April 2023 to October 2023: UG − November 2023 to January 2024: UACh − March 2024: UG (Defence) Tuition and fees will be paid at the home institution (UACh). The host institution (UG) will visa these costs for the doctoral candidate. However, even though the doctoral student carries out her research in Groningen, the tuition fees will be paid at the UACh. The doctoral candidate is responsible for taking out total health and liability insurance to cover the entire period in the Netherlands and Chile.
SUPERVISION OF RESEARCH. The promotors will supervise each candidate’s research work. The candidates will conduct research in areas of mutual interest to both universities, as mutually agreed between and stipulated by the respective departments of both universities.

  • Supervision of Students At least one teacher is to remain with the students after the close of any activity, practice session or game until the last student has left the premises. This rule applies whether the group is at the home school or field or is away.

  • Supervision of Student Teachers Paragraph 1: Supervision of a student teacher shall be voluntary. Teachers shall normally be notified of a student teacher assigned at least two (2) weeks prior to the student teacher’s introduction to the classroom. The school system shall provide the cooperating teacher with whatever materials it deems appropriate. The cooperating teacher shall be responsible for being knowledgeable of the contents of any such materials provided.

  • Supervision of Work The TSP shall provide all necessary superintendence for execution of the Project and its supervisory personnel shall be available to provide full-time superintendence for execution of the Project. The TSP shall provide skilled personnel who are experienced in their respective fields.

  • SUPERVISION OF THE WORK 6.1 Contractor shall supervise and direct the Work, using Contractor’s best skill and attention. Contractor shall be solely responsible for all methods, techniques, sequences and procedures, and shall coordinate all portions of the Work. County will deal only through Contractor, who shall be responsible for the proper execution of the entire Work.

  • Supervision The Recipient shall provide and maintain competent and adequate project management covering the supervision and inspection of the development and construction of the Project and bear the responsibility of ensuring that construction conforms to the approved surveys, plans, profiles, cross sections and specifications.

  • Supervision of Contractor Personnel The Contractor must supply all necessary and sufficient supervision over the work that is being performed and will be held solely responsible for the conduct and performance of his employees or agents involved in work under the Agreement.

  • SUPERVISION DUTIES 1. No teacher shall be required to perform any supervision duties during the school’s regularly scheduled noon intermission or before school in the mornings.

  • Supervision and Evaluation The Dutch educational institution and the internship employer will both appoint internship supervisors who will be responsible for supervising the intern. If problems arise, the two internship supervisors will contact each other. There will be an interim evaluation and a final evaluation. The parties will agree on what shape these evaluations will take. At the end of the internship, the Dutch educational institution will require a report from the intern. The requirements of the report will be known by the student before the internship begins. The internship employer will be presented with a copy of this report. The internship employer will present the intern with an evaluation of his/her internship.

  • Supervision and Direction Contractor shall supervise and direct the Work using diligent skill and attention. Contractor shall be responsible for and shall coordinate all construction means, methods, techniques, sequences, and procedures. (See Article 3.1.1
