Surrender of Licenses. Respondent hereby agrees to surrender to the Commissioner all CDDTL licenses previously issued. This surrender precludes Respondent from engaging in any CDDTL activities after February 28, 2009. This surrender does not preclude Respondent from engaging in pure collection activities that permit: (1) receipt of cash from customers for existing transactions entered into before February 28, 2009, (2) forwarding any checks received from Respondent’s clients to Respondent’s bank for deposit relating to transactions entered into before February 28, 2009, (3) responding to regulatory inquiries from the Department of Corporations or other agencies, (4) making refunds described in paragraph 6 below and (5) otherwise responding to customer inquiries concerning existing transactions. Respondent agrees that it will not apply for reconsideration, renewal or another CDDTL license.

Surrender of Licenses. To the fullest extent allowed by law, at the expiration or termination of this Lease, Tenant agrees to surrender and/or transfer all permits, licenses, certificates and other authorizations pertaining to the Premises to the Landlord, Landlord's designated successor operator of the Premises or the licensing authority, as required by Law, to permit or facilitate the transfer or reissuance of such licenses and/or permits to Landlord or Landlord's designee, without cost to Landlord or such designee. The provisions hereof shall survive expiration or termination of this Lease. 9.4
Surrender of Licenses. Operator may at any time surrender any License for Attachment(s) and remove its facilities from the affected Pole(s) or segment of the Network. Before commencing any such removal Operator must submit to KUB a License Application indicating the name of the party performing such work, the number of attachments being removed, a sketch showing the location of the removal(s) and the proposed date(s) and time(s) during which such work will be completed. All such work is subject to the insurance requirements of Article 18. No refund of any fees or costs will be made upon removal. If Operator surrenders such License pursuant to the provisions of this Article but fails to remove its Attachments from KUB’s Facilities within the time frame set forth in the approved plan above, KUB shall have the right, but not the obligation, to Remove or Transfer Operator’s Attachments at Operator’s expense.   • SURRENDER OF LEASE The voluntary or other surrender of this Lease by Lessee, or a mutual cancellation thereof, shall not work a merger, and shall, at the option of Lessor, terminate all or any existing subleases or sub tenancies, or may, at the option of Lessor, operate as an assignment to him of any or all such subleases or sub tenancies.

  • Surrender of Premises No act or thing done by Landlord or any agent or employee of Landlord during the Lease Term shall be deemed to constitute an acceptance by Landlord of a surrender of the Premises unless such intent is specifically acknowledged in writing by Landlord.   • Cancellation and Destruction of Rights Certificates All Rights Certificates surrendered for the purpose of exercise, transfer, split up, combination or exchange shall, if surrendered to the Company or any of its agents, be delivered to the Rights Agent for cancellation or in cancelled form, or, if surrendered to the Rights Agent, shall be cancelled by it, and no Rights Certificates shall be issued in lieu thereof except as expressly permitted by any of the provisions of this Agreement. The Company shall deliver to the Rights Agent for cancellation and retirement, and the Rights Agent shall so cancel and retire, any other Rights Certificate purchased or acquired by the Company otherwise than upon the exercise thereof.   • Surrender of Property Unless the Lease shall have been terminated pursuant to the provisions of Article 15, Tenant shall, upon the expiration or prior termination of the Term, vacate and surrender the Property to Landlord in the condition in which the Property was originally received from Landlord, except as repaired, rebuilt, restored, altered or added to as permitted or required by the provisions of this Lease and except for ordinary wear and tear (subject to the obligation of Tenant to maintain the Property in good order and repair during the entire Term of the Lease).

  • Surrender of Possession Immediately prior to the expiration or upon the sooner termination of this Lease, Tenant shall remove all of Tenant’s signs from the exterior of the Building and shall remove all of Tenant’s equipment, trade fixtures, furniture, supplies, wall decorations and other personal property from the Leased Premises, and shall vacate and surrender the Leased Premises to Landlord in the same condition, broom clean, as existed at the Lease Commencement Date. Tenant shall repair all damage to the Leased Premises caused by Tenant or by Tenant’s removal of Tenant’s property and all damage to the exterior of the Building caused by Tenant’s removal of Tenant’s signs. Tenant shall patch and refinish, to Landlord’s reasonable satisfaction, all penetrations made by Tenant or its employees to the floor, walls or ceiling of the Leased Premises, whether such penetrations were made with Landlord’s approval or not. Tenant shall clean, repair or replace all stained or damaged ceiling tiles, wall coverings and clean or replace as may be required floor coverings to the reasonable satisfaction of Landlord. Tenant shall replace all burned out light bulbs and damaged light lenses, and clean and repaint all painted walls. Tenant shall repair all damage caused by Tenant to the exterior surface of the Building and the paved surfaces of the outside areas adjoining the Leased Premises and, where necessary, replace or resurface same. Additionally, Tenant shall, prior to the expiration or sooner termination of this Lease, remove any improvements installed by Tenant (other than the initial tenant improvements install pursuant to Exhibit F) and repair all damage caused by such removal, unless Landlord, at the time it consented to such improvements waived the right to require such removal. If the Leased Premises are not surrendered to Landlord in the condition required by this Article at the expiration or sooner termination of this Lease, Landlord may, at Tenant’s expense, so remove Tenant’s signs, property and/or improvements not so removed and make such repairs and replacements not so made or hire, at Tenant’s expense, independent contractors to perform such work. Tenant shall be liable to Landlord for all costs incurred by Landlord in returning the Leased Premises to the required condition, plus interest on all costs incurred from the date paid by Landlord at the then maximum rate of interest not prohibited by Law until paid, payable by Tenant to Landlord within ten days after receipt of a statement therefore from Landlord, and Tenant shall be deemed to have impermissibly held over until such time as such required work is completed, and Tenant shall pay Base Monthly Rent and Additional Rent in accordance with the terms of Section 13.2 (Holding Over) until such work is completed. Tenant shall indemnify Landlord against loss or liability resulting from delay by Tenant in so surrendering the Leased Premises, including, without limitation, any claims made by any succeeding tenant or any losses to Landlord due to lost opportunities to lease to succeeding tenants.

  • Expiration of Rights The Rights will expire on the earliest of (a) 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on December 30, 2021 (b) the time at which the Rights are redeemed (as described in Section 6 below), and (c) the time at which the Rights are exchanged in full (as described in Section 7 below).

  • Cancellation and Destruction of ADRs All ADRs surrendered to the Depositary shall be cancelled by the Depositary. The Depositary is authorized to destroy ADRs in certificated form so cancelled in accordance with its customary practices.

  • Cancellation and Destruction of Surrendered ADRs; Maintenance of Records All ADRs surrendered to the Depositary shall be canceled by the Depositary. Canceled ADRs shall not be entitled to any benefits under the Deposit Agreement or be valid or enforceable against the Depositary for any purpose. The Depositary is authorized to destroy ADRs so canceled, provided the Depositary maintains a record of all destroyed ADRs. Any ADSs held in book-entry form (e.g., through accounts at DTC) shall be deemed canceled when the Depositary causes the number of ADSs evidenced by the Balance Certificate to be reduced by the number of ADSs surrendered (without the need to physically destroy the Balance Certificate).
