Targeted Jobs. Both union and Employer parties signatory to this agreement shall establish a “project targeted job committee” composed of two representatives of labor and two representatives of Manage- ment to evaluate individual projects in a joint effort to make union construction more competitive and maintain optimum productivity, cost containment and efficient accomplishments of the work involved. This joint committee shall be empowered to investigate and make recommendations to target any project for modifications depending on the competition involved. The decision of the project targeted job committee shall be based on a majority vote with labor representatives and management representatives having a equal number of votes on any issue. The joint committee shall not target any project where there is an existing project, national or international agreement in effect nor where any such agreement has been in effect within a period of two years prior to the project having been targeted.

Targeted Jobs. Relief may be granted to signatory contractors on any job with open shop competition. On such “Targeted Jobs” the contractor shall notify the union, in writing, of any special terms and conditions requested for the targeted job. It shall be the duty of the union to determine if relief shall be granted, when a request to target a job is received. If the union determines that relief shall be granted on a job, the union shall notify all signatory contractors of the specific terms and conditions that will be offered on these targeted jobs as quickly as possible to allow the contractor enough time to submit a bid accordingly. Terms and conditions shall never be lower than the Light Commercial/Tenant Development/Residential wage and fringe rates as set forth in this Agreement.
Targeted Jobs. The Union agrees to a Targeted Job concept, however, the Union and the Contractor must mutually agree to provisions prior to the beginning of each job. The Employer and Union recognize that the Union has the right to and may grant special provisions varying from the terms of this Agreement on specific projects, prior to the date of bidding on such projects. It was agreed that Boilermakers Local 85 and the Employers would discuss during the term of the contract a targeted jobs program paralleling those of other trades.

  • STATEWIDE ACHIEVEMENT TESTING When CONTRACTOR is an NPS, per implementation of Senate Bill 484, CONTRACTOR shall administer all Statewide assessments within the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (“CAASP”), Desired Results Developmental Profile (“DRDP”), California Alternative Assessment (“CAA”), achievement and abilities tests (using LEA-authorized assessment instruments), the Fitness Gram with the exception of the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (“ELPAC”) to be completed by the LEA, and as appropriate to the student, and mandated by XXX xxxxxxxx to LEA and state and federal guidelines. CONTRACTOR is subject to the alternative accountability system developed pursuant to Education Code section 52052, in the same manner as public schools. Each LEA student placed with CONTRACTOR by the LEA shall be tested by qualified staff of CONTRACTOR in accordance with that accountability program. XXX shall provide test administration training to CONTRACTOR’S qualified staff. CONTRACTOR shall attend LEA test training and comply with completion of all coding requirements as required by XXX.

  • Promotional Criteria Subject to the utilisation of the skills, as required by the Employer, an employee remains at this level until he/she has developed the skills to allow the employee to effectively perform the tasks required of this function and is assessed to be competent to perform effectively at a higher level or has successfully completed appropriate training to ASF level 1 and has the demonstrated skills to perform at a higher level.
