Teacher Contracts. A. Probationary teachers shall be required to sign an individual contract each year. Tenure teachers shall be required to sign a continuing contract. Any contract offered to a bargaining unit member shall contain the following provision: This contract is subject to a collective labor agreement heretofore or hereafter negotiated by the Employer and the exclusive bargaining representative of teachers and other employees who are members of the teacher bargaining unit employed by the Employer. This contract is also subject to Board policies pertaining to prohibited subjects of bargaining, including, but not limited to, Board policy pertaining to reduction of staff. The terms of such collective labor agreement are incorporated herein and by accepting and signing this contract, I agree to be bound by all such terms, including provisions of Article VIII (Payroll Deductions; Teacher Contracts).
