Teacher Exchange Policy. Upon recommendation of the Superintendent, the School District may permit a tenured teacher to participate in an approved teacher exchange program. For salary purposes, this year of exchange will be considered as a year taught with the district, and the district will continue to pay the teacher's full salary and fringe benefits except as otherwise specified by the program. Upon returning, the teachers will resume their previous teaching positions unless reassigned pursuant to Article X (Assignment and Reassignment).
