Teaching During a Preparation Period. In the event that a high school teacher or a junior high school teacher is required to teach for an entire trimester during the scheduled preparation period, that teacher shall be paid at the rate of 1/12th of the teacher’s salary.

The below negotiated salary schedule is based upon a determination by the District’s Board of Trustees that the school year shall be a 190 day school year. This includes 176 student contact days, 4 staff development days, 2 parent teacher conferences, 2 regular contract days, and 6 paid holidays.
