Common use of Telephone Allowance Clause in Contracts

Telephone Allowance. 40.1 Where the Employer requires an Employee to install and/or maintain a telephone for on call or other purposes, the rental and installation charges will be met by the Employer on production of receipted accounts by the Employee. 40.2 In lieu of paying an Employee the telephone allowance, an Employer may provide an Employee with a mobile phone for the purposes of being on-call and pay any costs and charges associated with it.
