TEMPORARY CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEE Clause Samples
The Temporary Classified Employee clause defines the terms and conditions under which an individual is hired for a classified position on a temporary basis. This clause typically outlines the duration of employment, eligibility for benefits, and the specific rights and limitations that apply to temporary classified staff, such as exclusion from certain long-term employment protections or advancement opportunities. TEMPORARY CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEE. A temporary classified employee shall be defined as one who is paid from the “S” salary schedule, and/or any employee who does not have defined hours per day and days per year.
TEMPORARY CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEE. Is one who is not a substitute and is employed in a 44 bargaining unit position for less than ninety (90) consecutive days, in any school year; or in a 45 position projected to accumulate less than ninety (90) workdays in any school year. Short-term 46 lay off will not be used to circumvent this provision.
TEMPORARY CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEE. 46 Is someone who is employed for sixty (60) workdays or more due to the absence of a 47 regular employee or temporary workload increase. All rights and benefits, including 48 seniority, shall be applied to the temporary employee on the sixty-first day. At the 1 conclusion of the temporary position, the employee will be placed in a "lay-off" status 2 and will retain a seniority date for one (1) year. All temporary positions shall be posted.
