Common use of Temporary Defined Clause in Contracts

Temporary Defined. A temporary bargaining unit member is one who is hired to work for a period of time which does not extend beyond six (6) consecutive calendar months. Any Temporary bargaining unit member who works continuously for over six (6) consecutive months shall be reclassified to a regular bargaining unit member status except when replacing another bargaining unit member who is on an approved leave.
