Common use of Temporary Demotion Clause in Contracts

Temporary Demotion. Where an employee is temporarily assigned to perform a lower rated position, and there is work reasonably available for the employee in the position from which the employee was assigned, the employee shall continue to be paid their current rate for the duration of such assignment.
