Common use of Temporary Military Duty Clause in Contracts

Temporary Military Duty. An employee who is an active member of the Nevada National Guard (the Guard) or any reserve component of the United States Armed Forces (the Reserve), shall be temporarily relieved from City duty without loss of regular compensation for a period not to exceed fifteen (15) working days in any calendar year, upon request to serve under orders on training duty. Any such absence shall not be deducted from the employee’s accrued vacation.
