Temporary Out-of-Scope Appointments. No employee shall be appointed to an out-of-scope position without her consent, except in case of emergency. Employees temporarily filling an out-of-scope position shall accumulate seniority in her home position and shall continue to have union dues deducted from her cheque and shall be entitled to all benefits and rights afforded by this Agreement.

  • Temporary Appointments A) The Employer may make a temporary appointment, without posting, to a vacant position provided such position is one in which the former incumbent has terminated employment with the Employer. The temporary appointment shall not exceed thirty (30) work days, unless the Union and the Employer mutually agree to extend this time limit.

  • Temporary Appointment The period of County Service of an appointee to a temporary position, subsequently appointed to a permanent position in the same class without a break in service, shall not be included in computing the probationary period.

  • SUSPENSION OF SUPPLIER'S APPOINTMENT 27.1 Without prejudice to the Authority's rights to terminate this Framework Agreement as set out in Clause 26 (Termination), or if the Authority reasonably believes that a Consistent Failure has occurred, the Authority may suspend the Supplier's appointment to provide Services to Contracting Bodies under this Framework Agreement by giving notice in writing to the Supplier which notice shall take immediate effect from the date specified in such notice and the Supplier agrees that it shall not be entitled to enter into any new Order during such suspension period.
