Common use of Temporary Service Reduction Clause in Contracts

Temporary Service Reduction. (a) When the Company intends to reduce services in whole or in part at a Branch for one (1) day, employees in their respective Branches will be informed as far in advance as practicable of the staffing implications so they may schedule vacation, lieu time, take an unpaid leave of absence or request a temporary transfer to the other Branch.

(ai) When the Company intends to reduce services or experiences a drop in business in whole or in part at in a Branch territory for one (1) day, employees in their respective Branches Territories will be informed as far in advance as practicable of the staffing implications so they may schedule vacation, lieu time, take an unpaid leave of absence or request a temporary transfer to the other Branchanother territory.
