Temporary Service Reductions will not be considered a “lay-off” for the purpose of exercising bumping rights, however, the Hospital will make every reasonable effort to ensure that those who wish to continue working will be afforded such an opportunity by aligning employees who wish to work with other employees in the same classification who would be willing to take time off so that both could be accommodated by a temporary transfer.
