Common use of Tenure Track Appointments Clause in Contracts

Tenure Track Appointments. Tenure Track appointments consist of two phases of probationary assessment during which time the Member must demonstrate the required qualifications and performance for obtaining a Tenured Appointment. A first probationary appointment shall normally have a duration of three (3) years and is normally followed by a second probationary appointment of the same duration. Tenure-track appointments shall not be made at the rank of Lecturer.
