Term of Charter. This Charter is effective upon the signing of both parties for a term of fifteen (15) years commencing on July 1, XXXX and ending on June 30, XXXX, except as otherwise provided in this Charter and by law. The Charter may be renewed for successive periods of twenty (20) years pursuant to law.

Term of Charter. Unless terminated earlier pursuant to Section 1002.33, Florida Statutes, or upon the terms contained herein, this charter shall cover a period of five (5) years [excluding two (2) planning years permitted by Section 1002.33(7)(a)12, Florida Statutes], commencing on July 1, 2021 and ending on June 30, 2026. The School may defer the opening of its operations for up to three (3) years to provide time for adequate facility planning. The School must provide written notice of such intent to the Sponsor and the parents of enrolled students at least thirty (30) calendar days before the first day of school. The first two (2) planning year(s) will extend the term of this Charter. Failure to open the School after all available deferral years is good cause for termination of this Charter.

Term of Charter. This Charter shall be granted and shall have a term consistent with that as may be granted and determined by the Connect Board of Directors. This Charter and the affiliation of a CHAPTER with Connect may be terminated at any time by either party in accordance with such reasonable procedures as Connect may adopt from time to time. For example, the Connect Board of Directors may vote to terminate the Charter of a CHAPTER if (1) the CHAPTER is in violation of national or federal, provincial or state or local laws; or, (2) the Board believes such dissolution to be in the best interest of the organization. Both parties agree to give the other party at least 60 days written notice of such intent to terminate the affiliation. In the event of termination by notice of one party to another, all of the provisions of this Agreement shall survive such termination insofar as such are necessary for the proper carrying out of its terms and conditions. On receipt of a notice of termination, the recipient shall have a reasonable opportunity to rectify any stated reason for termination, and if so rectified, this Charter shall continue.
