Test Schedule and Components‌. The City shall offer the fitness test once in Fall 2021 on a date or dates of the Chief’s choosing. Beginning in 2022, the fitness test will be administered at least two times a year on dates of the Chief’s choosing. The fitness test will consist of the components set forth in the Physical Ability Test Administration Guide. (To Be Set Forth and Updated as an Attachment A). Members will be paid at their straight-time hourly rate for the time necessary to complete the test. The fitness program shall not be considered a fit for duty test; further, a Member’s failure to test at or above the passing fitness level may not be the basis for the City seeking a fitness for duty certification.
