Testing of Vehicles for Roadworthiness. The testing of vehicles for roadworthiness is regulated by the Regulations on the Inspection of Vehicles and Trailers, Presidential Decree n.º 168/10. It is planned to construct 58 vehicle testing stations in Angola – distributed as follow, inclusive of one in each of the capitals of the 18 provinces:  15 stations in Luanda;  5 stations in the province of Benguela;  5 stations in the province of Huambo;  5 stations in the province of Huila;  2 stations in each of the 14 remaining provinces. It is also envisaged that the provinces with large territories and only two testing stations will be supplemented by mobile testing units serving the rural areas. In all instances the testing stations will be directly connected to the to the computer system of the National Directorate of Road Traffic with the purpose of monitoring the results of the inspections carried out, as well as for the statistical update on the technical state of the vehicles circulating in Angola. There is only one automated vehicle testing station compliant with the SADCStan in Angola. This testing station is located in Luanda and employs automated equipment. This equipment is not integrated with the systems of the National Directorate of Road Traffic and the test results of the vehicle inspections performed at this automated facility are not automatically recorded on the register of vehicles. Vehicle testing at the other 17 facilities in the other provincial capitals are performed by manual inspections by an examiner of vehicles.

Testing of Vehicles for Roadworthiness. Vehicle roadworthy inspections are performed by privately owned and operated Vehicle Testing Stations (PVTS). Vehicle roadworthy inspections are required for all new vehicles and for registered vehicles, annual inspections are required. The fees that may be charged by the PVTS are prescribed and based on the load and seating capacity of the vehicle. The roadworthy inspection includes a visual inspection of the vehicle, wheel alignment, brake roller testing, headlight beam testing and CO2 emission testing. It was noted that a 30% efficiency difference between the left vs right or front vs back brakes are regarded as a failure, whilst the footbrake and handbrake pass rate is 55% and 18% respectively. Following payment and vehicle inspection, a roadworthy certificate is issued manually. Carbon copies are provided to the Transport Authority and vehicle owner whilst a copy is kept in the roadworthy certificate book. The vehicle owner must submit both the roadworthy certificate and the testing equipment inspection report to the Transport Authority.

  • Testing of Metering Equipment Connecting Transmission Owner shall inspect and test all of its Metering Equipment upon installation and at least once every two (2) years thereafter. If requested to do so by NYISO or Developer, Connecting Transmission Owner shall, at Developer’s expense, inspect or test Metering Equipment more frequently than every two (2) years. Connecting Transmission Owner shall give reasonable notice of the time when any inspection or test shall take place, and Developer and NYISO may have representatives present at the test or inspection. If at any time Metering Equipment is found to be inaccurate or defective, it shall be adjusted, repaired or replaced at Developer’s expense, in order to provide accurate metering, unless the inaccuracy or defect is due to Connecting Transmission Owner’s failure to maintain, then Connecting Transmission Owner shall pay. If Metering Equipment fails to register, or if the measurement made by Metering Equipment during a test varies by more than two percent from the measurement made by the standard meter used in the test, Connecting Transmission Owner shall adjust the measurements by correcting all measurements for the period during which Metering Equipment was in error by using Developer’s check meters, if installed. If no such check meters are installed or if the period cannot be reasonably ascertained, the adjustment shall be for the period immediately preceding the test of the Metering Equipment equal to one-half the time from the date of the last previous test of the Metering Equipment. The NYISO shall reserve the right to review all associated metering equipment installation on the Developer’s or Connecting Transmission Owner’s property at any time.

  • STAFF ORIENTATION 4101 The Employer shall provide an appropriate orientation program for nurses newly employed. The orientation program shall include such essential information as policies, nursing procedures, the location of supplies and equipment, fire, safety and disaster plans.   • Forecasting Requirements for Trunk Provisioning Within ninety (90) days of executing this Agreement, Reconex shall provide Verizon a two (2) year traffic forecast. This initial forecast will provide the amount of traffic to be delivered to and from Verizon over each of the Local Interconnection Trunk groups over the next eight (8) quarters. The forecast shall be updated and provided to Verizon on an as-needed basis but no less frequently than semiannually. All forecasts shall comply with the Verizon CLEC Interconnection Trunking Forecast Guide and shall include, at a minimum, Access Carrier Terminal Location (“ACTL”), traffic type (Local Traffic/Toll Traffic, Operator Services, 911, etc.), code (identifies trunk group), A location/Z location (CLLI codes for Reconex-IPs and Verizon-IPs), interface type (e.g., DS1), and trunks in service each year (cumulative).
