Vehicle Inspections collection 1. When the Rental Period commences, you will be asked to sign a section on the Rental Agreement that describes the Vehicle’s condition at that particular time. It is your responsibility to fully inspect the Vehicle and any accessories for any pre- existing damage and to identify such damage on the report. 2. Where it isn’t possible to check pre-existing damage to the Vehicle and any accessories at the time of Vehicle pick-up, you must notify any such damage in writing within 24 hours of the start of the Rental Period. 3. If you do not notify us of any pre-existing defect or damage which is identifiable on inspection, then you will be deemed to have accepted the Vehicle and any accessories in the condition set out on the Rental Agreement and will be charged for any new damage that is discovered when the Vehicle and any accessories are inspected by both parties on return of the Vehicle (or earlier where the Vehicle is returned for inspection, servicing or repairs).

Vehicle Inspections. Pre-season inspections will not be done. All equipment furnished under this Agreement shall be in acceptable condition. The Government reserves the right to reject equipment that is not in safe and operable condition. Prior to acceptance vehicles shall be inspected by the Government utilizing the Vehicle/Heavy Equipment Pre-Use Inspection Checklist (OF-296). Vehicles shall be safe (brakes, tires, headlights, turn indicators, etc.) and in good mechanical condition and be equipped with appropriate load rating tires with minimum tire tread depth of 6/32 inches. Vehicles shall also be equipped with a full-size spare tire, wheel wrench, and jack. All vehicles shall be licensed (license plates or temporary tags) to legally operate on all public roadways. Inspections will take place either at the point of pick up, at the location of the dispatch office, or at the incident camp. This will depend upon logistical considerations at the time of hire. All vehicles delivered via car carrier will be inspected at the point of drop off, or at the incident camp. Vehicles that fail inspection or fail to comply with applicable motor vehicle laws such as exceeding the GVWR for the capacity offered, dyed diesel fuel, etc. shall be rejected. Equipment may be re-inspected after repairs or other identified deficiencies are rectified. Contractors may not attempt to pursue an alternative inspection for failed equipment without discussing the circumstances with the affected hiring agency. If the equipment does not pass inspection at the incident or designated inspection point, it is considered non- compliant. The Contractor may be given 24 hours, or a time frame designated by Government representatives to bring the equipment into compliance. If the equipment does not pass inspection, no payment will be made for travel to the incident or point of inspection or return to the point of hire, or for the time that the equipment was not available. Upon rejection, the equipment will be removed from the geographic resource list until such time that the equipment is brought into compliance and re-inspected at the Government’s convenience. Repeated failures at the pre-use incident inspection may be grounds for cancellation of this Agreement. The Contractor shall not have any claims or payments due for equipment rejected or for not meeting the specifications/requirements contained herein. Vehicle Inspections. The Contractor shall: a. Supply DSHS with a preliminary schedule of inspections within the first thirty-days of this Contract’s start date, and then each February 1st thereafter, using a format approved by DSHS. b. Inspect all vehicles, except those that are Client Associated Vehicles, to ensure that all regulatory requirements are met prior to their initial use under this Contract. c. Perform annual inspections thereafter on ten percent (10%) of the vehicles of each provider, and rotate the vehicle inspections of the provider’s fleet each year. d. Inspect the remainder of the fleet if during the course of the inspection more than five percent (5%) of the inspected vehicles in a service provider’s fleet do not meet regulatory requirements e. Perform annual unannounced random inspections on a minimum of ten percent (10%) of the vehicles of each service provider. (1) Inspect the remainder of the fleet if more than five percent (5%) of the inspected vehicles in a service provider’s fleet do not meet regulatory requirements. (2) Multiple complaints (see f below) received against a service provider during a sixty day (60) period shall also initiate unannounced random inspections. f. Remove immediately vehicles not passing inspections. Each vehicle shall be re-inspected before it is eligible to return to service. g. Confirm the condition of a vehicle(s) if a client or a healthcare facility complains about the condition of a specific vehicle(s). Vehicles found deficient shall be immediately removed from performing services under this Contract, and shall remain so until deficiencies are corrected and the vehicle(s) is re-inspected. The Contractor must determine if the vehicle is eligible to return to service. h. Document inspections completed by other agencies. Inspections completed by other agencies will suffice as long as the Contractor has access to the inspection reports and the standards set forth in this Contract are met or exceeded.

Bi-weekly (typically Monday and Thursday) pumpouts of black and grey water tanks are also included. PARK RULES: The Campground Guidelines (policies and procedures) are made a part of the agreement. Guest(s) agree to comply with all rules and policies as stated in the written Campground Guidelines (attached). A maximum of one motorhome or tow vehicle for 5th Wheels/Trailers plus one other vehicle is allowed per site. Guest(s) are to park any additional vehicles in the overflow parking areas in Birch or next to the RV storage area south from Cedar. There is a $30 dollar per month per vehicle parking fee for autos beyond one. ENTRY UPON GUEST(S) SPACE: Ventura Ranch KOA has the right of entry upon the land on which the recreational vehicle is situated for maintenance of utilities or maintenance of the premises, also to the recreational vehicle without prior written consent of the occupant in case of an emergency or when the occupant has abandoned the recreational vehicle.

Vehicles which are not operating properly shall be taken out of service until they are repaired and do operate properly. Contractor shall perform all scheduled maintenance functions in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and schedule. Contractor shall keep accurate records of all vehicle maintenance, recorded according to date and mileage and shall make such records available to the City upon request.

Any shortage between the fuel levels at the point of hire and the fuel levels at the point of return will be charged to you at our rates of £2 per litre (this is subject to change depending on rising/falling forecourt prices). 2. All goods and any personal belongings in or on the Vehicle must be removed before it is handed back. We may at our entre discretion store goods pending collection but will be entitled, without notice to you, to sell/dispose of or destroy any goods or personal items left in or on a Vehicle and to charge you for the costs in doing so. Charges will be applied in accordance with the Charges Section. 3. Upon the return of the Vehicle you should inspect the Vehicle which includes a record of any new damage (from that described on the Agreement at the time of pick up). Our inspection will take place by our valet prior to cleaning the vehicle and any new damage will be reported back to the office staff, with pictures and you will be notified at the earliest convenience. 4. If, during the inspection, new damage to the Vehicle is discovered (from that described on the Rental Agreement at the time of pick up) we will arrange for repair and replacement of part and accessories as necessary and charge you for: 1. cost of repairs and replacement parts which are uneconomical to repair;

Vehicle Inspections. For commercial vehicles defined as any vehicle with a gross weight of 4500kg or more, the company will pay the full cost of the vehicle inspections (excluding any necessary repairs that may arise from these inspections) requested by the company for its’ compliance policy. In addition, the company will pay for the annual safety required (excluding any repairs that may arise from this inspection). The company further agrees to provide each affected owner-operator up to four days of replacement vehicle rental per year for the purpose of having vehicle inspections completed. It is understood that the company will pay the cost of the daily rental and “basic insurance” for the rental vehicle and the owner-operator shall be responsible for the gasoline/fuel expense. The Owner Operator will comply with the Company’s National Compliance Policy which includes the completion and timely submission of all required records. The Company agrees not to change the Policy during the term of the Collective Agreement without agreement of the Union.
