tfERMINAtfION COMPENSAtfION. In the event thllt the Superintendent is terminated without cause by SBBC pursuant to Section 10.1, SBBC agrees to pay the Superintendent a sum equivalent to his salary for a period of twelve (12) months or for the remaining tcim of this Agreement, whichever period of time is less. In oddition to such termination compensation, SBDC shall al!>'O pay the Superintendent for his earned and unused sick leave and vacation dnys at the appropriate per diem rate subject to st1:1te law and SDBC policy. All compensntion paid by SBBC to the Superintendent under the provisions of this Section shall be considered liquidated damages.
