Sick Leave and Vacation. During the term of this Agreement, the Employee shall be entitled to annual vacation of at least five (5) weeks, or such greater time period if permitted by Company policy, to be taken at his discretion, in a manner consistent with his obligations to the Company under this Agreement. The actual dates of such vacation periods shall be agreed upon mutual discussions between the Company and Employee; provided, however, that the Company shall have the ultimate decision with respect to the actual vacation dates to be taken by Employee, which decision shall not be unreasonable. The Employee shall also be entitled to sick leave consistent with Company policy.
Sick Leave and Vacation. Sick leave and vacation shall accrue in accordance with the provision of State Labor Code 4850.
Sick Leave and Vacation. 1) Temporary Leave - Sick leave and vacation benefits (if any) accrue to unit members on temporary leave if such unit member was in the service of the District for a period of not less than one year immediately prior to the date upon which his/her temporary military leave began.

An employee who has worked on an Contingent Hire (Extra Hire) basis for at least twenty-two (22) of the twenty-five (25) regularly scheduled working days immediately preceding appointment on a Regular Hire basis at that time shall be credited with vacation and sick leave accruals for Contingent Hire (Extra Hire) on the basis of actual hours worked up to a maximum of eight (80) hours of sick leave and eight (80) hours of vacation leave. Contingent Hire (Extra Hire) employees will be notified of this at time of hire. Contingent Hire (Extra Hire) employees on the payroll as of October 1, 1986 are grandfathered in with accumulated vacation and sick leave benefits computed on the basis of actual hours worked. Sick leave for Contingent Hire (Extra Hire) employees may be taken only in connection with scheduled shifts.
Sick Leave and Vacation. During the term of this Agreement, the Executive shall be entitled to sick leave and annual vacation consistent with the Company's customary sick leave and vacation policies; the latter providing for vacation of ten (10) days in the first twelve (12) months of employment, and fifteen (15) days in subsequent annual periods from July 1.

Sick Leave and Vacation. 54.3 Generally, no sick leave will be granted for any illness which is incurred once an employee commences her vacation; in this event, the employee will be receiving vacation pay. For the purposes of this Article, vacation is deemed to have commenced on the completion of the last regularly scheduled shift worked prior to the vacation period inclusive of scheduled days off. Sick Leave and Vacation. Participants in the 9/80 plan may not use sick leave on their scheduled day off. Sick leave or vacation time will be charged on an hour-for-hour basis; i.e., if the employee takes leave on a scheduled nine-hour day, he/she shall be charged nine hours of leave time.
Sick Leave and Vacation. Credits While on Leave of Absence Regular employees will be entitled to sick leave and/or sick leave without pay to a maximum of twenty-four (24) months. Approved sick leave without pay shall be granted in renewable increments of up to six (6) months. Temporary employees who have exhausted sick leave credits will be entitled to sick leave without pay for a period not to exceed the term of the temporary appointment. Employees on sick leave without pay will have the option of continuing their present benefit package at no cost to the Board. Benefits are to be paid in advance and to coincide with extensions to the approved leave. Where an employee is on sick leave without pay, the employee will be entitled to accumulate vacation credits to a maximum of five (5) working days.
