The Atlantic Test Range. The ATR designs, develops, integrates, installs, maintains, and operates all test Range instrumentation, communications, digital data acquisition, and processing systems at NAS Patuxent River. Range instrumentation includes test data acquisition, surveillance and tracking radars, special purpose electronic combat emitters, videographic and photographic instrumentation, real-time telemetry systems, laser tracking systems, and electro optical tracking systems. The ATR provides flight test event control, fleet training event support, Range safety functions, frequency management services, and coordinates Patuxent River Special Use Airspace (PAX SUA). The ATR is a fully-instrumented and integrated test Range that provides full-service support for cradle-to-grave engineering development testing and fleet training. This support includes Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) of manned and unmanned aircraft, integrated avionics, mission systems, and training for aircrews. The primary RDT&E and training support capabilities provided by the ATR is as follows:  Aero Mechanical including flying qualities and performance, flight stability & control, high angle of attack, and air-to-air intercept performance.  Carrier/Ship Suitability including air platform catapults and arrestments, landing and takeoff performance testing, and carrier qualifications.  Air Vehicle Stores/Ordnance including weapon separation evaluation, weapons delivery accuracy, and stores/ordnance integration.  Survivability including real-time whole body Radar Cross Section (RCS), Doppler and engine modulation, infrared signatures measurement, and mission systems jamming.  Aviation Mission Systems including test and evaluation of communications, Identification Friend or Foe (IFF), Navigation, electronic warfare, airspeed and altitude sensors, and acoustic systems.  Surface Vessel Support including live and inert gunfire, speed trials, and performance trials.  Unmanned Air Systems (UAS), guided missile, drone, and cruise missile flight test support.  Fleet training support. The ATR manages over 2,700 square miles of restricted airspace from the surface up to 85,000 feet in the Chesapeake Test Range operating area. This airspace consists of selected targets and airspace covering regions over the Chesapeake Bay, Maryland, and Virginia (the Delmarva Peninsula).   • Alcohol Testing Alcohol testing will be conducted by using an evidential breath-testing device (EBT) approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. A screening test will be conducted first. This initial screening may be accomplished using a saliva test kit. If the result is an alcohol concentration level of less than 0.02 percent, the test is considered a negative test. If the alcohol concentration level is 0.02 percent or more, a second confirmation test using the EBT will be conducted. The procedures that will be utilized by the lab for collection and testing of the specimen are attached hereto as Appendix A.

  • Solicitation Deviation/Compliance Does the vendor agree with the General Conditions Standard Terms and Conditions or Item Specifications listed in this proposal invitation? Yes

  • Substance Abuse Testing The Parties agree that it is in the best interest of all concerned to promote a safe working environment. The Union has no objection to pre-employment substance abuse testing when required by the Employer and further, the Union has no objection to voluntary substance abuse testing to qualify for employment on projects when required by a project owner. The cost and scheduling of such testing shall be paid for and arranged by the Employer. The Union agrees to reimburse the Employer for any failed pre-access Alcohol and Drug test costs.

  • Reasonable Suspicion Testing All Employees Performing Safety-Sensitive Functions A. Reasonable suspicion testing for alcohol or controlled substances may be directed by the Employer for any employee performing safety-sensitive functions when there is reason to suspect that alcohol or controlled substance use may be adversely affecting the employee’s job performance or that the employee may present a danger to the physical safety of the employee or another. B. Specific objective grounds must be stated in writing that support the reasonable suspicion. Examples of specific objective grounds include but are not limited to: 1. Physical symptoms consistent with alcohol and/or controlled substance use; 2. Evidence or observation of alcohol or controlled substance use, possession, sale, or delivery; or 3. The occurrence of an accident(s) where a trained manager, supervisor or lead worker suspects alcohol or other controlled substance use may have been a factor.

  • Management Grievance The Employer may initiate a grievance at Step 3 of the grievance procedure by the Employer or designate presenting the grievance to the President of the Union or designate. Time limits and process are identical to a union grievance.

  • Random Testing Notwithstanding any provisions of the Collective Agreement or any special agreements appended thereto, section 4.6 of the Canadian Model will not be applied by agreement. If applied to a worker dispatched by the Union, it will be applied or deemed to be applied unilaterally by the Employer. The Union retains the right to grieve the legality of any imposition of random testing in accordance with the Grievance Procedure set out in this Collective Agreement.

  • Acceptance Tests 11.1 If the Contract provides acceptance tests for Goods and/or the result of Services after their completion and/or delivery to the Purchaser, the acceptance shall only be considered as definitive when such tests have demonstrated the compliance of the Goods and/or the result of the Services to the requirements in the Contract. 11.2 Where the Contract provides for an acceptance procedure in the presence of both parties, at the successful completion of such procedure, the Purchaser shall issue the Supplier with an acceptance certificate which shall authorise the Supplier to invoice the Purchaser for any payment due on such acceptance. 11.3 The Purchaser shall at its discretion be entitled to issue and acceptancecertificate with reserves. The Supplier shall be obliged to remedy any non-conformities within the period set out in the acceptance certificate. Any payment which would otherwise have been due on acceptance may be withheld by the Purchaser in whole or part until the non- conformities underlying the reserves have been remedied.

  • Stability Testing Patheon may be requested to conduct stability testing on the Products in accordance with the protocols set out in the Specifications for the separate fees and during the time periods set out in Schedule C to a Product Agreement. Patheon will not make any changes to these testing protocols without prior written approval from Client. If a confirmed stability test failure occurs, Patheon will notify Client within one Business Day, after which Patheon and Client will jointly determine the proceedings and methods to be undertaken to investigate the cause of the failure, including which party will bear the cost of the investigation. Patheon will not be liable for these costs unless it has failed to perform the Manufacturing Services in accordance with the Specifications, cGMPs, and Applicable Laws. Patheon will give Client ail stability test data and results at Client’s request.

  • Management of Company 5.1.1 The Members, within the authority granted by the Act and the terms of this Agreement shall have the complete power and authority to manage and operate the Company and make all decisions affecting its business and affairs. 5.1.2 Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, all decisions and documents relating to the management and operation of the Company shall be made and executed by a Majority in Interest of the Members. 5.1.3 Third parties dealing with the Company shall be entitled to rely conclusively upon the power and authority of a Majority in Interest of the Members to manage and operate the business and affairs of the Company.

  • Acceptance Testing At the time of installation of a LIS trunk group, and at no additional charge, acceptance tests will be performed to ensure that the service is operational and meets the applicable technical parameters.
