The Day. Setting performance objectives and behavioural expectations The performance objective setting and assessment process will be fair and transparent and will include performance objectives and behaviours. We will let you know the performance objectives (including targets) and values based behavioural expectations at the beginning of the performance period. Performance objectives (including targets) and behavioural expectations will: – reflect our objectives and values; – be easy to understand; – reflect the work being done during the relevant period; – be fair and transparent; and – apply for a defined period. In setting performance objectives (including targets) and behavioural expectations and determining whether they have been met, we will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to: – market factors; – your experience; – staffing levels at your location; – your anticipated absence from normal duties; – provision of training required to perform your current role (while recognising that you also have an accountability in relation to training); and – the needs of the business and our customers.

  • Calendar Day Any day shown on the calendar beginning at midnight and ending at midnight the following day. If no designation of calendar or working day is made, “day” shall mean calendar day.

  • Day Unless otherwise stated, reference to the terms "day," "days," "month," or "months" mean calendar day, calendar days, calendar month, and calendar months, respectively.

  • Working Day Working Day means a day other than a Saturday, Sunday, or a holiday which is observed by the construction industry in the area of the Place of the Work.

  • Boxing Day If another Federal, Provincial or Municipal holiday should be proclaimed during the term of this Agreement, such additional proclaimed holiday will replace one of the above-named holidays as agreed by the parties. The intent is that there will be no more than twelve (12) paid holidays per calendar year for the duration of this agreement.

  • Business Day For purposes of these By-Laws, “Business Day” shall mean any day other than a Saturday, a Sunday or a day on which banking institutions in the State of New York are authorized or obligated by law or executive order to close.

  • Banking Day a day (except Saturday, Sunday or official holidays defined by the Legislation for commercial banks), when commercial banks in Georgia are open and conduct their activity.

  • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday. (b) When the employee is scheduled off on a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to schedule the employee off the paid holiday. (c) In the event of a scheduling conflict, 12.07 (a) will be the deciding provision.

  • Monday An employee should not work more than 16 hours and must take an 8 hour break before continuing work. Therefore, an employee called in at 7:00 p.m. Sunday could work until 11:00

  • School Day The school day for members of the bargaining unit shall not exceed seven and one-half (7½) hours of consecutive time which shall include a duty-free, uninterrupted lunch period of no less than thirty (30) minutes.

  • Payment for Working on a Holiday (The following clause is applicable to full-time employees only)
